Last updated: June 4, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

Accessing or using decode64.com means you accept these Terms of Use. If these terms are not acceptable to you, you should stop using the website.

2. What the service does

decode64.com offers a free web-based utility for Base64 encoding and decoding. The conversion happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript, and text or files you use with the tool are not transmitted to our server. The service is made available for convenience and is offered on an as-available, as-is basis.

3. Permitted use

You may use the tool for personal or business purposes, provided your use is lawful. You must not use decode64.com in a way that infringes another person's rights or violates any applicable law, regulation, or obligation.

4. Analytics, hosting, and related services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. decode64.com also uses Google Analytics 4 for traffic and usage measurement, with measurement ID G-8X2VH91BQK. Those third-party services may process technical request or usage information as part of hosting, security, delivery, and analytics functions.

5. Cookies

decode64.com does not place its own cookies for the tool itself. However, browser or third-party technical cookies may appear in connection with normal site delivery or analytics.

6. No warranty

We make no promises about the availability, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the service for any specific need. To the fullest extent allowed by law, all express and implied warranties are disclaimed, and you assume the risk of using the site.

7. Liability limits

As far as the law permits, the operators of decode64.com will not be responsible for losses or damages of any kind, including indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, resulting from your use of the site or from the site being unavailable.

8. Intellectual property

The code used to run the tool is open source. Site appearance, branding, and written content remain owned by their respective owners unless otherwise stated.

9. Children's use

decode64.com is not intended to gather personal information from children, and the tool does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Because the Base64 processing happens locally in the browser and inputs are not sent to a server, the site is designed to minimize data handling.

10. Revisions to these terms

These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. When changes are posted on this page, your continued use of decode64.com after that point will mean you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are interpreted under the applicable laws governing the service operator. Any dispute relating to the site or these terms will be handled in the jurisdiction where the operator is located.
